The Ballad of Spinaroo

The Ballad of Spinaroo is an original story filled with original music that will bring delight to audiences of all ages. The unique concept of “Theater of the Mind” was put to use so that kids of all ages would be able to use their imagination to bring to life the details they hear in their own mind without dependence on a screen or tablet.

Spinaroo is the magical horse at the center of the adventure. On a journey to interact with humans, he seeks out Sheriff Bob Britestar - the target of his mission. Bob Britestar, having already gained a hero’s status throughout the Old West, is the perfect partner for Spinaroo and his quest against evil doers. However, convincing Sheriff Britestar that Spinaroo should be the horse to replace his beloved Lulu Bell sets our tale off and running.

Spinaroo makes his entrance at the mining encampment of Pick-Axe Paul, a middle-aged miner with a midlife crisis of never finding the gold he’d hoped to find. Spinaroo realizes that Pick-Axe Paul has the gift to be able to talk to horses. Moments later, Bob Britestar also enters Pick-Axe’s encampment, coming to warn Pick-Axe about the dangerous gold rustlers at large near the town of Mercies Grip. The sheriff finds himself in a stare down match with Spinaroo and at that moment a relationship was formed that would change the West forever.

Accompanying Spinaroo on his adventure is a host of delightful characters that bring action, adventure, humor, romance, the good, the bad and the ugly to a story that will knit a bunch of unlikely strangers into a family. The nostalgia of yesteryear with a modern twist will make you laugh, cry, and tap your toes with enjoyment... Now hold on tight, ‘cause here we go!
