Artistic Talent

Gordy is a big teddy bear of talent and patience! His approach to music is just like his approach to life, pay attention to the details and the rest will work itself out! He has played bass and produced music with some of the industry's top artists and always gives his best to his clients. Broken Prop Recording Studio was named after the broken prop plane that his father landed safely on the ground! Gordon helps navigate all the projects he does to a successful landing!

Sophie plays the role that shares her name in The Ballad of Spinaroo. In addition to the voice of Sophie St. John she also does the voice for Nurse Mayfield in the show. Even though she is a talented actress, Sophie also enjoys working behind the scenes in the greater Los Angeles area as a set designer for film, TV and theatre. She has a passion for both art and animals which lead her to draw the first rendition of "Spiner Roo" when she was just 8 years old! You can see the picture on our history page!

Brooke debuted her talents with 3 Cowboys and a Caveman when she played the role of a chicken named Henrietta in our show Smokey McCinders and the Spooktackular 7! With a "cluck-cluck here and a cluck-cluck there", she sang her way into our hearts! In all seriousness, Brooke is an amazingly talented singer/songwriter who has done it all in the music business. Sessions, TV and radio jingles, label work and backing up artists for Radio Disney! Kristen Fawley is the LOUD and Commanding voice behind the character Lucy MaGee in the show "The Ballad of Spinaroo". She has lent her wonderful singing and acting talents to many performing groups throughout Southern California. A graduate of Chapman University with a masters degree in Music Education, Kristen has taught elemtary and middle school choral classes for the past 12 years! She is dedicated to her work in church choirs and worship teams both as a soloist and team member. A mother of 3 wonderful children, she also enjoys baking and raising chickens! 

Brett voiced Oatis Campfield in The Ballad of Spinaroo. His delightful take on Oatis in Scene 6 "Sweet Mule of Mine!" will certainly bring a smile to your face, but his list of talents just starts there. Brett Papa is an amazing guitarist and one the most sought after guitar teachers in the industry. His online guitar lessons have helped countless guitarists of all levels reach their top potential! Most recently, Brett has spearheaded a new project that puts some of the music industry's top live and session guitar players all under one roof! Leah Ashton is an awesomely talented singer/songwriter, musician, scriptwriter and actress! She has performed on LA's biggest stages backing up some of musics top talent, but now is taking center stage as her solo career has become her main focus! Playing the role of Penny Sue in Smokey McCinders and the Spooktackular 7 was Jenna's first ever voice over role. Let's just say she knocked it out of the park! Jenna has a wonderful singing voice and has been a youth worship leader at South Shores Church in Dana Point , CA since the age of 16! Now, as a high school senior, she is embracing new opportunities as well as continuing her passion to lead and sing on worship teams and new music projects. Even though Penny Sue was a speaking role, we expect to see her in future roles both as a singer and voice actress!

Lauren Shaw was the other part of our "Top Cluck Team", in Smokey McCinders and the Spooktackular 7! She certainly wasn't chicken about embracing her role as Rowtan Teathercomb, the saxophonist from the all poultry band, "The Stardust Chickens!" Lauren also makes up the other half of "The Shaws" the duo she performs in with her husband Steven. The Shaws have been recording and playing worship music throughout Southern California for many years. They are the parents of two adopted children and are both very active in ministry at South Shores Church in Dana Point, CA.

Glen Lystne is a very gifted singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Southern California. Glen shares both his vocal, writing and instrumental talents on the song, "Look at Him Go". He also sings the lead vocal on "The Ballad of Spinaroo". He has been the front man for many bands in So Cal including Citizen Joe, Boarding House and his latest project Simon Says Revue, a Paul Simon tribute band.
